I think the scene is great. He is wonderful in it (they both are).Being straight I could not imagine having to do this in front of other people and make it believable.
If a parent does not want a teenage girl or boy to see things like this then monitor what they see and do on the internet.
Personally I would much rather watch sex being portrayed as an act of love in something like this than in a porn flick from youtube or off of a sex site. For most people this is what physical attraction is about.
Some people need to work on not being so narrow minded.

The whole movie is great. As for narrow minded I think my reaction would have been different if I had found it on my own. But is was a my BFF 11 year old daughter who found it and showed it to me. She was looking for a contest to meet him on one of the fan sites. I have high Respect for R Pattinson as an actor and have become a fan of his career. As for following him on Blogs I don't blog until now is my first and probably last. Maybe one day on a business trip I'll bump into him when I am in LA and New York and I'll let you know what I think of him as a person he seems humble which is great. I'm the sit back have a few beers with someone and then I would make my opinion on someone personally. Too private to blog about it:) Since it will never happen I think he get a A++ for his acting skills and I look forward to the rest of his movies.

I felt I needed to comment on the 2 postings by "gin" b/c there is no reason this clip can't be posted here. I am also a 29 yr old female and a mother of 3, two of which are girls and my oldest is 10 (11 this yr). Of course I wouldn't want her to see this, but they talk about worse in school and already know what sex is. I also monitor everything my kids do on the internet. And why is an 11 yr old looking for a way to meet Rob Pattinson?! My 10 yr old thinks Taylor Lautner is "cute", but Rob is a man, he's a little too old for an 11 yr old! As a parent, I would not promote that and would not allow it. Thats just wrong! My 11 yr old is into the Jonas brothers and Dylan and Cole Sprouse. I'm a fan of his and would love to meet him. I've watched many interviews w/ him on youtube and think he'd be someone cool to go for drinks with. And as a parent, if a parent is worried about what their teen or pre-teen in this case, is doing on the internet, then maybe they should be a "parent" and monitor them. Parents these days are too afraid to step up and "be a parent". That's why a lot of teens these days not only have no respect for their peers, teachers and the law, they don't even respect their parents b/c its never been taught to them. But thats a whole other topic.

Not a parent not sure why a 11 year old would be wanting to meet him. If I did or didn't have kids I would 100% agree. agree with you. He is a man but the press seems to promote him as teen idol?????? Do not know enough about him to say much more just suprized when I was showed video by 11 year old girl.

I definitely would be shocked as well. I don't blame this website, however, I blame the media for promoting him as a teen idol but I also would blame the 11 yr old's mother for not monitoring what she is doing on the net. There are far worse things on the net than that clip. And also, an 11 yr old is NOT a teen. Even a 13-14 yr old is still considered a "tween". I could see a 15-16 yr old and up liking him, they're at least closer to his age. I was shocked when I was at Wal-mart and saw one of the teen mags that had his pic on the front, along w/ 17 yr old Taylor Lautner. Now I have read all 4 books. And I gotta say, the story line is pretty intense. I don't think that even 15-16 yr old's would be able to fully grasp it. As an adult, I could totally get into it. As for the movies, unfortunetely, they have a 22 yr old playing a 17 yr old. Now, I gotta say, he plays Edward VERY well & I can't imagine anyone else doing it. But to promote Rob to teens 16+, ok. Maybe even 15, but thats pushing it. I have watched many interviews of Rob, and in more than a few, he mentions (he's trying to be nice as to not offend anyone) the screaming 14 yr old's, the fact that he doesn't like it, he doesn't know how to react. He also made a comment in one interview "People are all talking about how I have women throwing themselves at me. All I see is a bunch of screaming 14 yr old's. Where's the women? Please, throw yourselves at me". So he himself doesn't want to be a "teen idol". He has been seen in restaurants and bars talking to older (25-40 yr old's) women and taking pictures w/ them. He doesn't do that w/ the screaming teens. He's very mature and has a good head on his shoulder's. He does have a few paranoia's, like going into a crowd of people and getting stabbed. I just think its funny. He's also very humble, quiet, reserved and laid back. And oh so sexy! And as he moves fwd in his acting career, he is going to do films that are definitely not appropriate for anyone under 18. And thats ok, b/c he is a man, not a teen and hopefully he will stop being a teen idol, and just continue being adored by millions of women (18+).

Great scene! I loved it! Very tastefully done (no pun intended) lol but is that the whole scene or just a small preview of it? Anyone know? :)
